The Robin Hood Army
A volunteer-based, zero-funds organization serving surplus food to the less fortunate.
The Robin Hood Army is a volunteer-based, zero-funds organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants and the community to serve less fortunate people. Started in 2014 when it had two hundred Robins in eight cities, the organization has since served over nine million people. The army streamlines its processes to set up hyperlocal community chapters across the world. The core idea is to create self-sustained chapters that look after their local community and, in the process, inspire people to give back to those who need it most.
