Budding Babies

Budding Babies is a weekly baby playgroup held Thursdays at 9:30am at the Year One Wellness Austin clinic, located at 6010 Balcones Dr. Ste 100. Designed for babies who are sitting to walking, the group emphasizes sensory exploration and play to support fine and gross motor skill development. Parents have the opportunity to learn, ask questions about their child's development, and connect with other families in a supportive setting. The group meets weekly and is offered as a 6-week series for $96, with drop-in options available for $20. The play space is a baby-friendly open gym area with thick play mats and floor chairs, and two adults may accompany a baby. Pre-crawling babies are welcome, though the group targets the sitting-to-walking stage. Cancellation requires 48-hour notice for drop-ins, and series are non-refundable after the first class. Parking is available on the north side with stroller ramp access. This group aims to promote community, development, and social skills through interactive play with peers.
