The Guru Academy

The Guru Academy in Beirut offers martial arts training rooted in discipline, self-improvement, and the principles of the Bushido code—integrity, respect, courage, honor, honesty, compassion, and loyalty. Founded by Sensei Rabih Samara, a first-degree black belt in Japanese jujitsu with over 20 years of experience, the academy emphasizes physical education as a means to empower individuals and foster community awareness. Beyond combat skills, the program prioritizes mental and emotional growth, encouraging balance between body and mind. Whether as a hobby or lifelong habit, students are guided from their first steps, supported by a team-driven approach that pushes each other to achieve their best.
