Ladles of Love

Ladles of Love is a volunteer-driven organization based in Cape Town that mobilizes people of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities with compassion. Through their Dignity Kitchens, the group prepares and serves healthy hot meals weekly to destitute and displaced individuals across the city. Volunteers, known as Love Activists, contribute their time and skills in various ways, from preparing and serving meals to repacking food supplies at the Cape Town warehouse. The organization also hosts weekly pop-ups on the Cape Peninsula, where members collect composting buckets and sell fresh vegetables from Urban Farmers. Whether through in-person volunteering, donating groceries, or offering professional skills, Ladles of Love provides meaningful opportunities for individuals to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
