Trash People of Logan Square: community cleanup group in Chicago.

Trash People of Logan Square is a local sustainability group based in Chicago that organizes neighborhood clean‑ups. All of their events are designed to be fun and enjoyable, and they will cancel or postpone if the weather is too bad. Participants sign up through Eventbrite, which sends email updates, and the group also posts real‑time changes on Instagram. The team supplies grabbers, gloves, and bags for volunteers, but they welcome people who wish to bring their own gear or donate additional supplies, provided the items are checked with the group first. Volunteers who want to take on a larger role beyond the regular clean‑ups can email [email protected] to discuss leadership opportunities. The group is open to anyone who wants to help keep Logan Square clean and is always eager to hear from people who want to contribute. By removing litter from streets and parks, they reduce pollution and promote a healthier environment for residents and wildlife.
