Windy City Knitting Guild – a Chicago fiber‑craft community

The Windy City Knitting Guild is a welcoming Chicago‑based community that brings together fiber‑craft enthusiasts of all skill levels. With more than 100 members, the guild meets virtually twice a month for knit‑and‑chat sessions, where members share progress, troubleshoot stitches, and enjoy friendly conversation. In addition to the online gatherings, guild members regularly attend in‑person hangouts and workshops featuring guest educators who demonstrate new techniques and projects. Members receive a monthly newsletter that highlights local fiber events and supplies, keeping the community informed and inspired. A private Discord channel offers a space for instant messaging, pattern swaps, and project support. The guild operates on a modest annual membership fee of $25, which covers all virtual and in‑person activities, the newsletter, and Discord access. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter, a curious crocheter, or someone looking to explore sewing, the Windy City Knitting Guild invites you to join a vibrant network of Chicago fiber‑craft friends.
