Greater Cleveland Volunteers connects people with service opportunities in Cleveland.

Greater Cleveland Volunteers is a local nonprofit organization that has been serving Cuyahoga County for more than 50 years with a mission to promote volunteerism and encourage people to share their time and talents to help others in the community. The organization helps individuals age 18 and older find service opportunities that match their personal interests and availability. Participants can choose to serve at a wide variety of different local organizations or participate directly in one of the group's own volunteer programs. An informational presentation is hosted at the Independence Branch meeting room to help community members learn how to get started. Attendees can discover why volunteers are important, the impact they make, the personal benefits of serving, an overview of available programs and services, and the steps needed to begin volunteering. More volunteers are continuously needed to support local organizations and help make the community a better place for everyone.
