CHRISTUS Health Volunteer Program in Corpus Christi

CHRISTUS Health Volunteer Program invites residents of Corpus Christi to contribute to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by volunteering at CHRISTUS hospitals and health centers. Volunteers can help at lobby information desks, greet and escort patients, assist in waiting rooms of surgery, ICU and ER, and support the gift shop and outpatient pavilion. The program also offers opportunities to assemble patient packets, assist lactation teams, participate in pet‑therapy and knitting‑hat projects for babies and oncology patients. Adult volunteers must be 18 or older, complete an application with references, pass a background check, meet vaccine requirements, and agree to 100 hours of service. High‑school students can join the Junior Volunteer Program, which runs for six weeks during the summer, provides hands‑on experience in child life, information desks and outpatient surgery, and requires a 32‑hour commitment. Volunteers receive perks such as celebration luncheons, annual awards, free flu shots, social outings, and skill‑building experiences. To learn more or apply, contact the Volunteer Services team via the provided phone numbers or email addresses.
