Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi Volunteer Programme for global volunteers to teach skills and support children.

The Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi Volunteer Programme invites volunteers from around the globe to dedicate their time, talent, and expertise to supporting children in need. Volunteers commit to a minimum of four weeks to ensure continuity and achieve tangible outcomes. The structured process includes an induction, skill matching with organizational needs, concurrent assessment, and a final evaluation. Activities range from teaching English, mathematics, science, and Hindi to training tour guides, conducting non-formal education, and leading theatre activities. Volunteers also assist with computer labs, marketing initiatives, documentation, and case study creation. The programme emphasizes diverse learning, including sports, arts, and health support, with medical volunteers welcome for check-ups and staff training. By engaging with this initiative, volunteers gain insight into Indian culture and issues while making a life-changing difference in the lives of children through creative expression, skill development, and dedicated support across various facets of the organization's work.
