Support Durham Habitat construction volunteers by providing site hospitality, treats, and meals.

Durham Habitat Site Hospitality Volunteers help construction workers feel like a valued part of the team by welcoming them directly on the work site with purchased or handmade treats or meals. This non-construction volunteer opportunity is ideal for those who want to support the organization's mission without participating in physical building projects. In addition to site hospitality, Durham Habitat occasionally offers other non-construction involvement, such as long-term office support requiring a regular weekday commitment and strong interpersonal and computer skills, as well as various roles at the Habitat ReStore including donation processing, customer service, office administration, and general maintenance. Those interested in helping with site hospitality or office support can reach out via email to the Volunteer Manager for more information, while individuals looking to volunteer at the ReStore can sign up for an upcoming orientation on the website, contact the team by email at [email protected], or call the office directly.
