Der Chor wurde 1998 gegründet, entwickelte sich aus dem A-cappella-Chor des MGV Gaschari und erhielt im September 1998 den Namen Spirit Voices Gescher. Seitdem hat er regelmäßig Konzerte in Gescher und Umgebung gegeben.
