Planning Commission
Habra Planning Commission – volunteer opportunities for community planning.
The Habra Planning Commission is one of several community committees that help shape the city’s future. Volunteers who sign up through the city’s online form can support the Commission’s work in a variety of ways. General volunteers can stay informed about new opportunities, help organize gatherings, and send reminders through social media, email, or text. Those interested in the streets and parks can join the Trash and Roads program, adopting a road or participating in quarterly clean‑ups on Hacienda Road or Harbor Boulevard. Park volunteers can help keep local green spaces clean and report maintenance needs. Community events volunteers can assist with the 50th City Anniversary Planning Committee or the La Habra Heights Improvement Association. Media and education volunteers can share historical knowledge or record community events. By joining the Planning Commission’s volunteer network, residents help keep Habra’s streets, parks, and public spaces safe, beautiful, and ready for future growth.
