Roads Committee
Roads Committee of Habra, coordinating volunteer road maintenance and safety.
The Roads Committee in Habra brings together volunteers to keep streets clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Members help organize regular clean‑up events, such as the Hacienda Road Trash Clean‑Up, and monitor litter on Harbor Boulevard. Volunteers also report graffiti to LHH Public Works, compile lists of road signs needing repair, and adopt specific road sections to maintain free of trash. The committee works closely with the city’s Planning Commission, Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Committee, and other community groups to ensure that road conditions support safe travel and emergency response. Participants can sign up through the city’s volunteer form, indicating their interests in general volunteering or road‑specific tasks. The committee encourages residents to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and to share ideas for new projects. By collaborating with local residents, the Roads Committee helps preserve Habra’s streets, supports emergency preparedness, and fosters a sense of shared responsibility among neighbors.
