Johannesburg Queer Chorus

The Johannesburg Queer Chorus is a vibrant choir open to everyone in greater Johannesburg’s LGBTQIA+ community and their friends. Welcoming people of all genders and sexual orientations, the chorus particularly embraces members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual, or genderqueer. Committed to musical excellence, the group fosters a friendly and empowering environment through the shared experience of song. Since its beginnings in 2020, the chorus has grown steadily, bringing together over 50 members from the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond to celebrate diversity and harmony through performance.
