YMCA KL Aikido Martial Arts Club offers Aikido, Judo, Karate, Kickboxing, Silambam, and Taekwondo in Kuala Lumpur.

The YMCA KL Aikido Martial Arts Club has been providing martial arts and self-defense programs in Kuala Lumpur since the 1970s, originally starting with Judo, Aikido, and Karate. Today, the club offers a diverse range of disciplines including Aikido, Judo, Karate Do, Kickboxing, Silambam, and Taekwondo, catering to both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Training sessions are held at the Lotus Room and Lotus Studio on the Ground Floor, with specific schedules varying by discipline and age group. For instance, Aikido training occurs twice weekly for adults and juniors, while Judo and Silambam meet once a week. Rates differ based on membership status (Junior, Adult/Associate) and age, with specific fees applicable for new trainees. Participants are required to adhere to dressing rules, bringing their own water bottles and appropriate athletic wear, though uniforms for most styles can be purchased through the respective instructors. Grading and exam fees are handled separately through the National Association.
