YMCA KL Kickboxing Club offers martial arts and self-defense training in Kuala Lumpur.

The YMCA KL Kickboxing Club has been providing martial arts and self-defense programs since the 1970s, originally starting with Judo, Aikido, and Karate. Today, the club offers a diverse range of disciplines including Aikido, Judo, Karate Do, Kickboxing, Silambam, and Taekwondo for members of all ages and skill levels. Training sessions are conducted at the Lotus Room and Lotus Studio on the Ground Floor in Kuala Lumpur. Aikido classes meet twice weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, focusing on weapons training, beginners, and general practice. Judo is held once weekly on Sundays in the morning. Karate Do training occurs twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays in the evening, with an additional Sunday session. Kickboxing, Silambam, and Taekwondo each offer once-weekly classes on Tuesdays and Sundays at various times. Participants must adhere to specific dressing rules, such as wearing comfortable sports tracksuits for most disciplines, bringing a water bottle, and purchasing the appropriate uniform before attending.
