Monthly Chess & Jazz sessions at The Spare Room in Los Angeles for all skill levels.

The Spare Room at The Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles hosts a monthly Chess & Jazz event designed for participants of all skill levels. Held every Monday from 7 September, the session runs from 19:00 to 23:00 and features chess boards set up across the venue alongside cocktails and live music sets. This gathering is open to everyone who wishes to play chess, listen to the live jazz performances, or simply socialize with others in the community. No partner is required to join the chess activity; attendees are simply invited to grab a drink and find an available board to play. The event serves as a welcoming space for people to meet, enjoy the atmosphere, and engage with both the game of chess and the musical entertainment provided during the evening.
