Korean American Center Language Exchange in Los Angeles for practicing English and Korean.

The Korean American Center Language Exchange is a community event hosted by the Korean American Center in Los Angeles, bringing native Korean speakers together with those interested in improving their Korean language skills. Since 2013, this meetup has provided a welcoming environment for conversation practice, where participants can engage in English-Korean dialogue to enhance their fluency. It is important to note that this is not a formal Korean class; rather, it is dedicated to conversation practice and language exchange for individuals who already possess at least some basic conversational skills. Those who are brand new to Korean are encouraged to first enroll in formal Korean classes offered by the Korean American Center to learn the basics before joining this exchange. The Korean American Center is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to building stronger connections between intergenerational Korean Americans and the broader community by promoting Korean language and culture through various initiatives, including free language exchanges, formal classes, cultural festivals, and workshops.
