Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden offers Forest Bathing retreats in Arcadia.

The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, located at 301 N. Baldwin Ave in Arcadia, provides a unique opportunity for forest bathing, a practice inspired by Japanese traditions that has been shown to reduce stress and boost immune strength. The garden hosts monthly forest bathing sessions on the second Sunday of every month at sunset, offering a gently guided immersion into the natural world. These sessions are designed to help participants reset for the week ahead by engaging with the trees, plants, and inhabitants of the arboretum. Participants must be at least 12 years old to join these events. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members, with sign-ups available through the Arboretum's official website. While the page also lists numerous other meditation resources across Los Angeles, including retreats at Hare Krishna Cultural Center, Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood, Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens, Self-Realization Fellowship, and Vedanta Society of Southern California, this specific directory entry focuses on the Arboretum's dedicated forest bathing program as a premier local option for mindfulness and connection with nature.
