Startup Council is a global California-based community for tech founders and entrepreneurs.

The Startup Council is a global, California-based community service group dedicated to supporting technology-based startup businesses and software entrepreneurs. Founded by Scott Fox, the organization brings together entrepreneurs, founders, developers, engineers, marketers, designers, angel investors, venture capitalists, and startup friends to foster collaboration and accelerate success. The group focuses on providing timely, engaging events and services that help members build expertise, relationships, and innovative new companies. The Startup Council encourages a friendly, diverse environment where members help each other to accelerate everyone's startup success. They offer interactive, fun events featuring the latest business intelligence and innovation expertise from California's Silicon Valley and Stanford University, moving away from boring webinars or stuffy seminars. The mission is to help entrepreneurs learn how to start companies, raise money, and grow worldwide. The group provides free expert advice on fundraising, product development, strategy, digital marketing, business planning, investor pitches, and more. They host free 'Office Hours' with Angel Investor Scott Fox, where startup founders can ask questions, practice investor pitches, and receive valuable startup strategy advice and networking opportunities. The community aims to increase access to innovation and investment for all, with a special focus on helping first-time, female, and minority founders. While the group is based in Los Angeles, their events and resources are available to startup founders and friends worldwide.
