Manna Mission
Manna Mission is a registered Christian organization in West Bengal, India, focused on discipleship, education, and community development.
Manna Mission is a registered Christian organization operating across 14 districts in West Bengal, India, with a primary focus on Malda and surrounding areas. Founded in the late 1990s, the group evolved from the Hooghly Sodepur Christian Fellowship Society to better equip indigenous leaders and foster transformational development. Its work is anchored in the Children Education and Development Centers (CEDC), which currently serve 1,500 children across 30 centers in districts including Kochbihar, Mursidabad, and Malda. These centers aim to prevent child labor, human trafficking, and poverty by providing food, shelter, and education to marginalized children, including 500 Muslim children in dedicated facilities. Beyond education, Manna Mission runs a Diploma in Biblical and Mission Studies to train village pastors and leaders in Bengali, ensuring they are equipped with the Word of God. The organization also conducts various seminars, conferences, and Community Health Education programs to address physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. Additionally, Manna Mission engages in income generation projects such as small business initiatives for goat and duck rearing, tailoring, and grocery shops, while providing direct charity through housing repairs, food distribution, and aid to widows and the homeless. The group is FCRA registered and actively seeks to uplift neglected Muslim communities alongside its broader Christian ministry.
