NrityaGatha is a classical dance academy in Malda, West Bengal, led by Gold Medalist Shubhankita Das.

NrityaGatha is a classical dance academy nestled in Malda, West Bengal, where young souls embrace rhythm, expression, and the joy of art under the guidance of Gold Medalist Shubhankita Das. The academy offers instruction in Bharatnatyam, Rabindrik, Folk, and Creative dance through both online and offline sessions. Bharatnatyam, the oldest classical dance form of India rooted in Tamil Nadu temple traditions, is taught with an emphasis on precise geometry, expressive abhinaya, and rhythmic footwork. Rabindrik, born from Rabindranath Tagore's vision, provides a fluid and lyrical exploration of Bengali music and emotion, while Folk dance captures the vibrant, joyful spirit of rural India through harvest and celebratory rhythms. A modern, exploratory practice is also available for students seeking to find their own artistic voice through choreography and individual artistry. Founded by Shubhankita Das, who has dedicated her life to mastering these ancient art forms, the academy creates a vibrant haven where students learn not just steps, but the stories and emotions behind each mudra. Training is disciplined yet adaptable, with annual examinations conducted by Sarbabharatiya Sangeet o Sanskriti Parishad to earn travel credentials. Students can join in person at the Malda studio or learn from anywhere via live online classes, ensuring the same syllabus and standards everywhere. The academy fosters a supportive environment where every student blossoms at their own pace, gaining confidence and stage experience through annual showcases and cultural events.
