Azura Literacy
Azura Literacy improves reading skills for elementary students in Mesa.
Azura Literacy is a volunteer-driven initiative started in 2014 to improve literacy among elementary students in Mesa. The program focuses on distributing free books for summer reading, expanding free distributions in Title I schools, and operating a free reading mentor program designed to support students who are struggling with literacy. By providing these essential resources and mentorship, Azura Literacy strives to give disadvantaged children a greater chance to succeed in their education and future endeavors. The program operates within the community to support young learners and foster a love for reading.
