Hindi Charismatic Prayer Group in Mira-Bhayandar, India.

The Hindi Charismatic Prayer Group was established in 2005 by late Brother Rajan Fernandez under the name Karuna Ministries within the St. Joseph Church parish in Mira Road. The group operates a dedicated Hindi Mass and Prayer Service every Monday at 6:30 p.m., which is also attended by people of other faiths. In addition to the weekly mass, the group holds fellowship meetings and intercession services every Wednesday evening following the same time slot. They provide counseling and healing sessions, maintain a choir practice, and organize the monthly First Friday Hindi Marathi Retreat, held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Friday of each month, welcoming participants from across Mumbai and various religious backgrounds. The group also supports RCIA sessions in Hindi held every Saturday by teaching candidates about Jesus. Leadership development programs are arranged to support ministry members in their assigned tasks. The core team includes Mrs. Alphonsa Fernandez as Leader, Mrs. Carmeline Ferrao as Assistant Leader, and several core members who actively participate in these ministries.
