The Inspired Voices of Hope is a teen choir based in Newark for youth ages 13 to 18, welcoming participants to sing a musical range of youthful contemporary Christian music. Part of the broader Music Ministry at Metropolitan Baptist Church, the choir contributes to a vibrant community of musical expression that includes several other choral groups, such as the Metropolitan Mass Choir, the Women's Choir, the Men of Metropolitan, the Majestic Voices, the Metropolitan Concert Choir, and the Metropolitan Hand Bell Choir. The Music Ministry also supports worship and events through choral, liturgical dance, and instrumental music, alongside offering instructional opportunities like beginner and advanced adult piano lessons taught by the Assistant Minister of Music. Participants in the ministry engage in traditional Christian music, gospel, hymns, and contemporary Christian pieces within a supportive church environment rooted in faith and fellowship.
