Community Choir of Arizona in Phoenix offers inclusive singing for all levels.

The Community Choir of Arizona is dedicated to making it easier to say yes to singing and helping members rediscover the joy of making music. Located in Phoenix, this group teaches singing techniques, encourages participants to push their musical limits, and provides a welcoming space to interact with fellow community members. There are no auditions or pressure; members are simply asked to show up and sing. Rehearsals are conducted on time and never exceed their planned duration, though attendance at the majority of rehearsals and the concert is required before committing. The choir features a director named Smith who challenges singers while keeping rehearsals fun, utilizing voice tracks to assist those who are not sight readers. Members consistently describe the group as uplifting and supportive, noting that people genuinely celebrate each other's successes rather than competing. Regular events include concerts, such as a free holiday concert featuring music from various holidays throughout the year, and free homemade desserts on Tuesdays. Registration is open for the Fall 2026 concert season, with detailed expectations provided after initial sign-up.
