Faith Christian Community in Sacramento is a local church dedicated to sound biblical doctrine and the core beliefs of the Christian faith. The congregation affirms the 66 books of the Bible as the inspired Word of God and holds to essential truths regarding the nature of God, the deity of Jesus Christ, and the plan of salvation. Their mission is defined by four key actions: inviting the world into relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; teaching people to follow Jesus; training followers to embrace and use the gifts of the Holy Spirit; and launching disciples into every corner of the world. The church is led by a plurality of elders, including members selected from the church body and up to three staff elders known as pastors, who provide spiritual oversight and direction while staff leadership implements the mission. Services are held in person with energetic worship music, communion, and dynamic teaching, offering two options: a mellower 9am service and a spirited 11am service, both lasting approximately one hour. Children from birth through fifth grade are welcomed into a safe and exciting environment called FaithKids for both services. The church encourages attendees to come dressed in whatever makes them most comfortable, reflecting a welcoming atmosphere where people can feel at home.
