The Sacramento Adult Choir was established to teach harmony singing within a fun and casual environment, welcoming individuals of all backgrounds. No previous choir experience is required; simply a willingness to try is all that is needed. The group is flexible, allowing members to participate by sitting in on any of their singing nights whenever they wish. While the group is currently a casual ensemble without a fixed schedule, they are expected to begin rehearsing again in January. Music selections are entirely up to the members, who are encouraged to submit suggestions for what they would like to sing. Although the group is primarily focused on learning, they are open to performing if members desire, potentially supporting a school recital for soloists. The only cost is a request for $125 per month to cover expenses such as music and staff, including a piano accompanist. This initiative is described as a passion project with no additional fees.
