The Youth Ministry in Tiruchirappalli operates within a living heritage of faith, community, and devotion to Our Lady of Seven Dolours, rooted in Trichy since the early 18th century at Palayakovil. Guided by the shepherding of successive parish priests, our parish community embraces a rich history that includes the legacy of Veeramamunivar, an Italian Jesuit missionary and Tamil scholar. Building upon this spiritual foundation, our Youth Ministry empowers the next generation with spiritual formation, leadership, and a strong sense of Christian identity, guiding young people to live their faith with courage and joy. Alongside our catechism programmes for children, outreach, sacramental care, pastoral support, and neighbourhood Basic Christian Community groups, the youth ministry helps ensure that every soul in our parish is supported, engaged, and loved as we walk together in faith.
