Dance Stars

Dance Stars is a lively interest group within the University Women’s Club of Vancouver that offers members the chance to learn line dances led by professional instructors. No prior dance experience or partner is required, making it accessible to all skill levels. Sessions feature a variety of up-tempo styles, including Latin, modern ballroom, jazz, rock & roll, world music, and country. Held weekly on Wednesdays in the Ballroom from 5:45 to 6:45 pm, the group focuses on fun, fitness, and social connection. Members can sign up for ongoing sessions with monthly advance payments to cover instructor fees. The group also enjoys social dance events, including dinners and dances at Hycroft, providing additional opportunities to practice new skills in a welcoming environment.
