French Conversation

The French Conversation group meets regularly to provide members with an opportunity to improve their French language skills through discussion and conversation. Sessions are held on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:45 pm, with both Zoom and occasional in-person meetings at Hycroft. The group is self-directed, with members taking turns to chair each session, selecting an article for discussion, and leading the conversation. Participants are encouraged to prepare a brief essay on a topic of interest, which is shared during the meeting. While a basic working knowledge of French is required to fully engage, the sessions are designed to be enjoyable and supportive, fostering both language improvement and camaraderie among members.
