Pedal Power Association

Pedal Power Association

The Pedal Power Association is a well-established cycling community in Cape Town that welcomes riders of all levels. Every Saturday at 6:30 AM, the group organizes social rides with three route options: a short ride of around 34 kilometers, an intermediate ride of 70 kilometers, and an advanced ride lasting over four hours, including challenging climbs. Each ride is led by experienced captains and supported by backup vehicles, ensuring safety and camaraderie on the road. For those interested in track cycling, the association also hosts training sessions at Killarney Race Track on Tuesday evenings from September to March. Whether you're looking to explore scenic routes, improve your cycling skills, or simply enjoy the company of fellow riders, the Pedal Power Association provides a welcoming environment for all. Meetings take place at the PPA Office in Mowbray for social rides and at Potsdam Road in Table View for Killarney sessions.
