Chicago Language Café at Revolution Brewing for monthly language exchange meetups.

Join the Chicago Language Café at Revolution Brewing on Kedzie for a casual, social monthly meetup designed to help you practice speaking new languages or refine your English. Held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this event features dedicated tables for a wide variety of languages including English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, and ASL. Attendees are encouraged to move between tables if they speak multiple languages, though they should generally stick to the language of their assigned table to support the exchange spirit. If your language is not currently represented, you can borrow a flag to find others interested in learning or teaching it. The atmosphere is lively and crowded, making it an excellent opportunity to make new friends and connect with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. While clarification in English is always acceptable, the event aims to minimize English outside of the English table. Participants who do not speak other languages are also welcome to help others improve their English, as native speakers are greatly appreciated.
