INT'L CAFE Chicago hosts language exchange events for multilinguals and travelers to practice speaking new languages socially.

Welcome to INT'L CAFE Chicago, a vibrant community dedicated to connecting multilinguals, language learners, and international travelers through fun and engaging language exchange events. Whether you are fluent or just beginning, you can join tables for specific languages such as Japanese, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Ukrainian, and ASL. The organization encourages mobility, allowing participants to move between tables if they speak multiple languages. Events take place at various Chicago locations, including Wrigleyville Konbini & Kanpai, Nine Bar, Parisette, and Revolution Taproom. Some sessions offer guided learning with experienced instructors like Arnie or Lily Wang, featuring real-world role-playing scenarios, cultural nuance, and immediate feedback to help learners practice grammar, pronunciation, and etiquette in a supportive environment. Members are encouraged to create a profile at intlcafe.io to stay updated on events, community features, and ticket purchases. The atmosphere is generally casual, social, and lively, though some events can be noisy and crowded. All levels are welcome, and participants can choose to attend individually or subscribe for monthly perks. The goal is to make new friends, improve language skills, and celebrate global culture through conversation.
