ESL English conversation practice group meeting at Little Italy Branch, Chicago Public Library.

Join the ESL: English Language Conversation Practice group located at the Little Italy Branch of the Chicago Public Library. This language café offers a free, no-booking environment where you can practice English with strangers. The host seats you upon arrival, making it easy to enter alone. Groups typically feature mixed levels; participants simply state their proficiency once, and corrections are only offered if requested. Native speakers are welcome and often sought after by hosts. This event is part of a broader network of language cafés in Chicago, including options in Rogers Park and informal tables at Nine Bar. Other language events, such as Spanish conversation groups at the Blackstone library, are also available for those interested in other tongues. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced speaker, this space is designed for natural conversation practice without the pressure of formal instruction. Come as you are, speak freely, and connect with others who share your interest in language exchange.
