Iglesia Aposento Alto is a Chicago faith community focused on united prayer and action.

Iglesia Aposento Alto in Chicago is part of a faith-community mobilization movement that fosters collaboration by coordinating seasonal rhythms of united prayer and collective action among churches and faith-based organizations. Rooted in a message of peace, well-being, and completeness inspired by Jesus Christ, the community recognizes the importance of going beyond prayer to engage in God-inspired action for the well-being of Chicagoland. The broader collective effort was formed in 2017 as a collaboration of praying networks, including Pray Chicago which began in 2014, championing seasonal rhythms throughout the year. The community supports place-based individuals and organizations through training and connection, rallies churches over Memorial Day Weekend for united prayer and a positive community presence, and holds a fall rhythm to deepen friendships, share vision, and sync efforts. Additionally, the movement invests in the next generation of Chicago by encouraging Prayer Champions to lead weekly prayer at local schools and through a faith and service initiative aimed at nurturing the Christian faith of youth and young adults aged thirteen to twenty-nine through relational discipleship and meaningful acts of service.
