Volunteering Untapped Chicago connects Chicagoans with local volunteer opportunities every second Saturday.

Volunteering Untapped Chicago is a community group based in Chicago dedicated to connecting compassionate individuals with local nonprofit opportunities to create a cleaner, happier, and more just city. Every second Saturday of the month, members gather to volunteer with various organizations across Chicagoland, ensuring that every volunteer can find new ways to give back. The group has facilitated diverse initiatives including trash cleanup at Pullman National Historical Park, card distribution to schools and senior facilities, food distribution, and art workshops in North Lawndale. Beyond the events themselves, the organization offers a VUber program to assist with transportation and hosts afterparty socials at local restaurants or bars to foster community connection. They also provide opportunities for monetary donations to support operations and seek partnerships with other nonprofits to expand their impact. With a focus on bringing people together for meaningful service, the group encourages first-time volunteers and those seeking motivation to join their efforts in making a positive difference in Chicago.
