Founded in 1990, the North East Catholic Community of Delhi (NECCOD) is an association that helps Catholic students and professionals from Northeast India integrate into life in Delhi by providing spiritual support, fellowship, practical assistance, and opportunities for cultural exchange. With a growing membership that has surpassed 2,000 members, the community offers guidance and support through events such as its annual Freshers' Social Meet, which brings together hundreds of members for worship and cultural celebrations representing the eight northeastern states. Guided by its chaplain and leadership, NECCOD fosters cultural and spiritual bonds among the Northeastern diaspora in the national capital, maintaining a tradition of faith, unity, and community support.
