Dublin Teen Buddy Program
Dublin Teen Buddy Program
The Dublin Teen Buddy Program connects vetted teen volunteers with older adults in the community to form lasting intergenerational friendships. By matching participants based on mutual interests and shared life experiences, the program aims to combat loneliness and isolation while fostering a sense of belonging for all involved. Teen volunteers receive training and guidance to ensure meaningful and supportive relationships are built. This initiative provides an opportunity for young people to give back to their community while gaining valuable interpersonal skills and contributing to the well-being of Dublin’s older residents.
