Creativetoolkits is a Los Angeles community for creative technology professionals and hobbyists.

Creativetoolkits is a vibrant community in Los Angeles dedicated to people working at the intersection of art, technology, media, and production. The group brings together a diverse array of individuals including 3D artists, fabricators, animators, VFX artists, TouchDesigner visual artists, software engineers, post-production professionals, videographers, directors, music producers, designers, and creative coders. The primary activity is a weekly Creative Tech & Visual Arts Mixer held every Saturday at Smalls LA, located at 4149 W Pico Blvd #103. This event serves as a space for professionals, hobbyists, students, and curious attendees to meet collaborators, exchange ideas, share projects, and build a strong sense of community. During the mixer, participants can sign up to pitch an idea, showcase a project, or present a topic, followed by a mid-event presentation session and breakout networking opportunities. The entry to the event is free, though attendees are encouraged to purchase a drink or snack as a gesture of appreciation to the local venue. Beyond the weekly mixer, the community is open to individuals interested in contributing by hosting project showcases, lectures, seminars, workshops, demos, creative hackathons, installation events, and collaborative meetups. Those eager to help shape the future of LA's creative technology community are invited to join their Discord server and get more involved.
