Friday Night Board Gaming is a Los Angeles meetup for board game enthusiasts at Paper Hero's and Games. We host basic and advanced games eve

Friday Night Board Gaming, formerly known as Friday Night Dice, is a welcoming community meetup for board game enthusiasts located in Los Angeles. We host our weekly gatherings at Paper Hero's and Games, a game store in Sherman Oaks, having moved there after previously meeting at the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society in Van Nuys. Our events take place every Friday late afternoon and evening, offering a comfortable space for both beginners and advanced players to enjoy a wide variety of games. We feature classic basic European titles such as Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride, alongside more complex strategy games like Suburbia, Power Grid, Terraforming Mars, and Railways of the World. In addition to board games, we also accommodate war games and card games. While we bring a large selection of games to the venue, attendees are always welcome to bring their own favorites as well. The group operates on an open-door policy where RSVPs are not required, and we frequently welcome spontaneous visitors from the store who wish to join in. Although our online listing may sometimes reflect only a single attendee due to this open nature, the actual gatherings often feature a full house of twenty or more gamers. Everyone is invited to come down and experience the friendly atmosphere of our Friday night gaming sessions.
