MDT Dance Senior Division in New Orleans is a professional and fun learning community where self-esteem, confidence, inspiration, discipline, and teamwork are the focus. The senior division offers a variety of high-energy classes designed to develop dancers' technique, artistry, and individuality. Offerings include Senior Jazz I/II, which explores expressive jazz style movements such as jumps, turns, across the floor progression, and stylized movement, as well as Senior Hip-Hop I/II, which fuses classic party dance moves, popping and locking drills, and basic breaking combos. Students can also take Senior Ballet and Pointe for increasingly challenging combinations and technique, Contemporary I/II to improve posture, flexibility, strength, and industry techniques, and Senior Tap to focus on faster and more intricate footwork, speed, clarity, and complex rhythmic combinations.
