Get Lit Book Club is a monthly NYPL and WNYC reading group in Manhattan.

Get Lit Book Club is a monthly reading group hosted by the New York Public Library and WNYC, featuring live and online author talks, book discussions, and special musical performances. Led by host Alison Stewart, the club focuses on reading and discussing ambitious works of literature, with recent selections including 'Lake Effect' by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney. The group offers free access to members at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library located at 455 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, though the event is livestreamed to ensure broad participation. Due to high demand, these meetings frequently sell out, requiring members to be proactive in signing up for the latest session. The club serves as a vibrant community space for readers to engage with contemporary fiction and enjoy the company of fellow book lovers in an accessible, free environment.
