NYC Tech & Startup Mixer: A monthly networking event for founders, engineers, and investors in New York.

The NYC Tech & Startup Mixer is a high-energy, in-person networking event organized by Startup+, designed to connect founders, engineers, investors, recruiters, freelancers, and mentors in New York City. Hosted at Sour Mouse, 110 Delancey St, the event focuses on direct conversations rather than panels or speeches, making it ideal for those testing ideas, raising capital, or hiring their first developer. With a capacity of 100+ attendees, the mixer provides a dedicated space with name tags at the door to facilitate introductions, allowing participants to swap stories, get quick feedback, and potentially spot future co-founders, investors, or customers. Established in 2021, Startup+ has grown to include 25,000 members across its platform, hosting over 75 mixers and 12 pitch nights since inception. Attendance is strictly limited to confirmed RSVPs via Luma, and walk-ins are not permitted. Participants are asked to dress in business-casual attire, including jeans, and may use business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for networking. By attending, guests agree to potential photo/video usage for promotional purposes and consent to receive future event invites and promotions via newsletter or other platforms.
