Startup+ Volunteer Network connects NYC tech founders, developers, and investors for networking events.

Startup+ Volunteer Network serves as the central hub for New York City's startup ecosystem, fostering direct connections between founders, developers, investors, recruiters, freelancers, and mentors. Established in 2021, the organization hosts high-energy in-person mixers and pitch nights designed to facilitate real conversations rather than passive observation. With a dedicated community of over 25,000 members across various platforms, including 16,000 in NYC Meetup groups and 11,000 Substack subscribers, Startup+ provides exclusive access to event tickets and networking opportunities. The group emphasizes practical engagement, offering attendees a space to swap stories, receive quick feedback, and identify potential co-founders, investors, or customers. Events are held at specific venues, such as Sour Mouse on Delancey Street, requiring mandatory RSVPs to ensure capacity management. Participants are encouraged to dress in business-casual attire and utilize business cards or LinkedIn QR codes for introductions. The network aims to connect good people and drive the future of tech through organized, impactful gatherings in New York.
