Dress for Success Arizona volunteers in Phoenix to empower women through career support and professional attire.

Dress for Success Arizona is a community-based organization in Phoenix dedicated to expanding education, career pathways, and economic mobility for women across the state, with a specific focus on single mothers building stronger futures for their families. Volunteers serve as the heart of this mission, offering flexible time commitments ranging from individual monthly sessions to team-based group projects that directly empower women toward economic independence. New volunteers are welcomed through an orientation program that covers the organization's core mission, provided services, and specific volunteer guidelines to ensure a smooth start. Engagement opportunities include assisting women in developing strong resumes and interview skills within the Career Center, styling professional outfits to boost confidence for interviews and the workplace, and maintaining the studio and storage areas by sorting and organizing donated clothing and accessories. Most volunteer roles require weekly or bi-weekly two-hour shifts, with the organization open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and twice monthly on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Group volunteer days are also available for teams to participate in clothing sorting, career workshop support, outreach calls, or corporate fundraising campaigns. To begin, interested individuals can register for upcoming new volunteer orientation sessions, which are limited to 12 participants per session.
