Pittsburgh Youth Chorus offers choral education and performance programs for grades 1-12.

Pittsburgh Youth Chorus provides multi-faceted choral education and performance opportunities for singers in grades 1 through 12 across five different locations in the Pittsburgh region. Focused on personal development, community engagement, travel, and cultural exchange, the organization offers training choirs for grades 1 and 2, core performance choirs for grades 3 through 8, and premier performance opportunities for high school students in grades 9 through 12. Additionally, Pittsburgh Youth Chorus features the Cantate Choir, a specialized neurodiverse choir designed for singers ages 6 to 18 with physical, social, emotional, and intellectual challenges. Each participant attends weekly rehearsals led by trained conductors and professional accompanists, complemented by regular performances throughout the season. The programming nurtures participant potential while fostering confidence, dedication, musical skills, lasting friendships, and a strong sense of belonging within a supportive community.
