Riverside Regional Medical Center Volunteer Program

Riverside Regional Medical Center Volunteer Program – Riverside

Riverside Regional Medical Center Volunteer Program invites residents of Riverside to join a supportive hospital family. Volunteers help patients, assist visitors, and support the health‑care team throughout the facility. Adult volunteers must commit to at least six months and keep a regular schedule of 16 hours each month. The application process includes a personal interview, universal background check, flu shot, tuberculosis screening, and completion of the volunteer orientation. Orientation sessions are held throughout the year, with dates such as January 5, January 27, March 10, April 6, September 3, October 19, and November 24. The program also offers a junior volunteer track for high‑school students aged 14 to 18, who must be in good academic standing, have parental consent, and attend the mandatory orientation. In addition, the hospital hosts community vendor fundraising events in the cafeteria, with proceeds supporting the Riverside Make a Difference Fund. All volunteers receive ongoing training and support from experienced staff. For more information or to apply, email [email protected] or call 757‑594‑2044.
