The Tucson Summer Chorus is a community choir based in Tucson, Arizona, dedicated to bringing together singers for seasonal rehearsals and performances. The group recently welcomed back its Artistic Director, Clay Whittington, for the 2026 season, following a highly successful 2025 concert that was the best attended series of rehearsals and audience events to date. All rehearsals for the 2026 season will take place at the Celebration Center of St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, located at 4625 E. River Road, running from June 1, 2026, to July 27, 2026, with sessions held from 7 to 9 PM. A dress rehearsal is scheduled for August 3, and the concert will be presented at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on August 7. The chorus operates as a non-profit member of the Arizona Choral Arts Association and serves a charitable mission by collecting food, cash, and check donations to benefit Interfaith Community Services, a social organization helping people achieve stable, healthy, and independent lives. Since 2010, all net financial and food donations from each concert have gone directly to this cause. Membership dues for the 2026 season are set at $70, and the organization welcomes tax-deductible contributions of any amount to support its operating expenses, as ticket sales are not available for their benefit concerts.
