Casual Connections Coffee Morning is a weekly gathering held on Monday mornings from 10:00 am to Noon at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, located in The Living Room. This event serves as a welcoming space for women in Bangkok, particularly those who are new to the city or recently moving here, offering an opportunity to make friends, see the sights, and feel at home. The activity is organized by the American Women's Club of Thailand, an inclusive organization open to any woman living in Thailand regardless of nationality. While Casual Connections is a member-only event, non-members are welcome to attend as guests of a member or contact the AWC President directly for more information. The club also hosts a variety of other activities throughout the week, including Pickleball on Tuesday mornings, Ladies Tennis on Thursdays, and both International and American-style Mahjong sessions on Fridays and the third Friday of each month. Beyond social events, the AWC is deeply committed to education, sponsoring scholarships for Thai high school girls across rural Thailand, with significant fundraising efforts underway for the 2026-27 school year.
